– As noted, former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard recently took down an armed man at a gas station in Florida. The man pulled a gun on Gaspard but it was later determined that the man was carrying a BB gun. WWE covered the story on their official website and wrote the following:
Former Superstar Shad Gaspard breaks up armed robbery in Florida
Shad Gaspard took a bite out of “Cryme” last weekend when the former WWE Superstar broke up an armed robbery at a Valero gas station in Coral Springs, Fla.
Gaspard — who was one half of the team Cryme Tyme alongside JTG and has also been a bodyguard for the likes of P. Diddy, Britney Spears and Mike Tyson — was allegedly attacked by a suspect as he approached the checkout counter. According to reports, a fight ensued, which ended in Shad subduing the suspect outside of the gas station and pinning him to the ground until Coral Springs police arrived to take him into custody.
Speaking to 7News Miami after the incident, Shad said of the suspect, “I hope he gets right for his daughter, or whoever is in his life,” before adding, “and I hope he never tries a stunt like this again.”
