– Tonight’s WWE RAW opens with a look back at last week’s main event.
– We’re live from Charlotte, North Carolina with Corey Graves, Michael Cole and Byron Saxton.
– We go right to the ring and Chris Jericho is in for another episode of The Highlight Reel. He introduces his guest and out comes WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.
Owens is honored to be on The Highlight Reel for the second week in a row. They start knocking the fans and the Thanksgiving holiday. They are superior because they’re Canadians. They had Thanksgiving last month and Jericho says Canadians are always ahead of the curve. The USA chants start up now. Owens and Jericho go on about what they’re thankful for. Jericho is thankful for Seth Rollins because he proved what happens when you let your ego and pride take over your life, he proved he’s the epitome of a stupid idiot. They rail on Rollins for failing last week. Jericho says that wasn’t him who interfered last week wearing a Sin Cara mask, clearly it was Sin Cara wearing a Chris Jericho mask. Jericho says Cara got The Mask of Jericho and put it on, maaan. Owens says due to the apron powerbomb Rollins took last week, he hasn’t been medically cleared to be here tonight. The music interrupts and out comes WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns.
Reigns has words and says Owens as Universal Champion is a huge joke. Owens fumbles his words but they play it off. Owens says the only joke is Reigns calling himself The Guy. Reigns says that’s no joke, he is The Guy. Some fans boo. Reigns says Owens is just a guy around here, and who needs help. Owens asks what he needs help with exactly. Reigns says he needs help with everything. Owens says he doesn’t need Chris Jericho. Jericho shoots Owens a look. Reigns disagrees and says Owens would’ve lost the title if he didn’t have Jericho last week, and the week before that, the week before that, and so on. Jericho has heard enough. He goes to add Reigns to The List but keeps going on and on… Owens yells at him to shut up. Jericho looks stunned. Owens says Reigns can’t talk to him this way. Reigns asks what he’s going to do about it. Owens threatens him with an apron powerbomb. Reigns says there’s the Owens he wanted to talk to. He doesn’t care about Joke Owens Joke, he wants Fight Owens Fight. Reigns challenges Owens to a match for tonight and if Reigns wins, he gets a title shot at Roadblock. Owens accepts for tonight and says he just brought himself onto The Kevin Owens Show. Reigns says he loves that show but here’s a spoiler – he will be kicking Owens’ ass by the end. They have words as Reigns’ music hits. Owens leaves with his title.
– Still to come, the RAW Women’s Title will be on the line. Also, Michael Cole’s sitdown interview with Paul Heyman. We go to commercial.
– Back from the break and Chris Jericho is with Kevin Owens backstage. Jericho wants to know why he told him to shut up and said he doesn’t need him. They argue and both say they don’t need each other. Mick Foley walks up and confirms tonight’s Reigns vs. Owens match. Jericho ends up walking off.
Braun Strowman vs. R-Truth
We go to the ring and R-Truth waits as Braun Strowman makes his way out.
The bell rings and Truth strikes first but Braun shuts him down. Braun unloads and splashes Truth in the corner. Strowman with a big running powerslam for the easy win in Truth’s hometown.
Winner: Braun Strowman
– After the match, Goldust comes in and checks on Truth. Goldust attacks Braun but has no luck. Braun applies a bearhug until Sami Zayn runs down. Sami puts up a fight but Braun lays him out. Braun turns Sami upside down in the corner and looks to destroy him again but referees run into the ring to stop him. Mick Foley makes his way down as we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and Sami is arguing with Foley in the ring. Byron asks Foley why he’s stopped action Sami has been involved in for two weeks in a row now. Foley expresses concern for Sami and says he won’t quit, and sometimes there are people in WWE that need to be saved from themselves. Sami says he needs to save himself from Foley. Foley gets upset and fires back. This ends with Sami calling Foley a hypocrite and storming out of the ring.
– Still to come, Sasha vs. Charlotte for the gold. We go backstage to Charlotte warming up. Dana Brooke is here to give her the latest update on tonight’s homecoming celebration. Charlotte says tonight is important because she will cement her legacy as the greatest women’s champion of all-time, she comes home to Charlotte, gives people purpose in their meaningless lives, ends the rivalry with Sasha and becomes the only legend to make it out of this city. She sends Dana back to party planning and we go back to commercial.
Cedric Alexander and vs. Tony Nese
Back from the break and Cedric Alexander makes his way out. Tony Nese waits in the ring with Drew Gulak. Gulak goes to ringside to watch as Nese and Cedric shake hands.
Back and forth to start. Cedric turns it around with a hurricanrana and a dropkick. We see Alicia Fox backstage watching and she has a thing for Cedric now. Fans chant for Cedric now. Nese turns it around after Gulak distracts Cedric. Nese with a moonsault for a 2 count. Nese drops the hometown star and poses.
Nese keeps Cedric grounded now. Cedric finally fights up and out for the comeback. Gulak tries to interfere again, allowing Nese to take advantage and get the win.
Winner: Tony Nese
– After the match, Gulak and Nese celebrate at ringside.
– We go to Enzo Amore and Big Cass with a Cyber Monday segment for WWE Shop.
– Still to come, Reigns vs. Owens with a title shot on the line. Back to commercial.
– The announcers look back at what happened earlier tonight.
– Charly Caruso is backstage with Chris Jericho. Jericho says yes, this is very personal to him. He says if Owens doesn’t need him, he doesn’t need Owens either. Jericho yells at Charly to get the hell out of here. He continues walking with his luggage and The List. Jericho yells at his driver to open the limousine door. He does and knocks The List to the ground. Jericho calls him a stupid idiot and tells him to get in the car. It sounds like the driver asks if he made The List but it’s Seth Rollins. Rollins unloads on Jericho and beats him around while talking trash about making The List. Rollins launches a large piece of railing at Jericho but he avoids it. Rollins slams Jericho into a few cars and goes for a Pedigree on the concrete. Jericho avoids it and back drops Rollins on top of a car. Rollins pulls Jericho up and plants him on the roof of the car with a Pedigree.

– Back from the break and we see what just happened to Jericho.
RAW Women’s Title Match: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair
We go to the ring and out comes Sasha Banks to a pop. RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is out next with Dana Brooke. She gets a pop from the Flair Country crowd.
JoJo does formal ring introductions. They go to lock up and Charlotte takes the leg out for a quick pin attempt. Charlotte with some trash talking now. Sasha ducks a clothesline and goes for a Backstabber into the Banks Statement. Charlotte quickly gets to the rope. Sasha knocks Dana off the apron and launches her into the steel steps. Sasha comes back in and goes to the top after a shoulder thrust. Sasha with a crossbody for a 2 count.
Sasha mocks the Flair strut and gets some boos, then nails Charlotte. Charlotte ends up knocking Sasha off the apron with a forearm. Charlotte follows but Sasha decks her. Sasha continues to fight Charlotte before tossing her over the barrier. Charlotte comes right back over and strikes Sasha. They tangle and Charlotte slings Sasha ribs-first into the barrier. The referee takes his time with the 10 count as they continue brawling at ringside. Charlotte sends Sasha into the barrier again. They fight into the crowd now. Charlotte keeps Sasha by the barrier at ringside and we get a double count out.
Double Count Out
– After JoJo’s announcement, Charlotte takes her title but out comes Mick Foley to the stage. Foley says he’s not going to allow this rivalry to end like that. Foley tells them to take a little rest because this match will re-start later tonight and when it does, it will be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Right here, in Charlotte’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Fans pop as Foley’s music hits and Flair doesn’t look happy.

Rusev vs. Enzo Amore
We go to the ring and Lana is out to introduce her husband. Rusev makes his way out for a rematch from last week. Enzo Amore and Big Cass are out next to a pop. Enzo cuts a promo on how Lana saw how he’s really doing last week. Cass names a bunch of Thanksgiving dishes as fans chant “how you doin’?” in between. Enzo says Lana was thinking about a Certified G stuffing her turkey while Rusev and family were having Thanksgiving dinner. Rusev is flipping out in the ring. Cass does the “SAWFT” line and Enzo makes his way into the ring.
The bell rings and Rusev flattens Enzo. Rusev talks trash as he picks Enzo up and kicks him below the belt. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: Enzo Amore
– Rusev quickly retreats to ringside as Big Cass hits the ring. Rusev watches from ringside and warns them to never talk about his wife. We get a replay of the low blow as Cass stares Rusev down.
– Still to come, the RAW Tag Team Titles are on the line. We see Rich Swann walking backstage. Back to commercial.
– We come back and Charly Caruso is backstage with Mark Henry. We see a preview for WWE Studios’ “Incarnate,” which hits theaters this coming Friday. Titus O’Neil walks up and he says he was supposed to get that movie role, that was supposed to be his Space Jam but Henry stole it from him. Henry goes to walk away but Titus grabs his arm and tells him not to walk away. Henry shoves Titus to the floor and says he’s lost his mind.
Rich Swann vs. Noam Dar
Back to the ring and RAW Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick is on commentary. Rich Swann makes his way out next and taunts Kendrick ahead of their 205 Live premiere main event tomorrow. Noam Dar is out next.
Back and forth to start. Swann ends up hitting a big kick out of nowhere for the win.
Winner: Rich Swann
– After the match, Swann starts dancing as we go to replays. Graves interviews Swann in the ring and asks him about possibly winning the title on 205 Live tomorrow. Swann taunts Kendrick and says he’s already beat him twice but this time he will be coming home as the WWE Cruiserweight Champion. Why? Because Kendrick can’t… handle… this. Swann’s music hits and he goes back to dancing as Kendrick looks on.
– Back from the break and Cole mentions WWE renewing their WrestleMania partnership with Snickers.
– We get a look at Sheamus and Cesaro’s title shot last week. We go to a bar and Sheamus is having a drink. Tessa Blanchard is sitting next to him but not named. She walks off when Cesaro walks up with a drink to celebrate them never having to team again. They end up arguing but stop and have a friendly conversation about their Survivor Series win. A man approaches and welcomes Sheamus to America, then picks on him for having a funny name and a funny look. He threatens Sheamus and here come his buddies to join in. One guy burps in Cesaro’s face. Sheamus calms Cesaro down and reminds him he’s a professional. They change their minds and go to work on the guys as a bar fight breaks out. Cesaro and Sheamus clean house, then declare an open bar. Byron wonders if they can be friends after all.

Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens
Back from the break and out comes WWE United States champion Roman Reigns. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is out next. If Reigns wins, he gets a title shot at Roadblock.
Owens attacks before the bell and beats Reigns down in the corner. The referee backs him off. We get the bell and Owens goes right back to work. Reigns gets kicked out to the floor. Owens follows and manages to keep control. Owens brings it back in and hits a senton for a 2 count. We go back to commercial with Owens in control.
Back from the break and Owens hits clotheslines. Reigns makes a comeback to a mixed reaction now. Reigns stops himself to prevent a referee bump. Owens drops him with a DDT for a 2 count. Owen mocks Reigns and hits the corner cannonball for a 2 count.
Owens keeps Reigns down with a headlock now. Owens talks trash as he keeps Reigns down. Owens breaks the hold and hits a senton for a 2 count. He goes right back to the hold. Owens goes for another senton but it’s countered with knees to the spine. Reigns finally makes a comeback as some fans boo. Reigns with big clotheslines in the corner now. Reigns with a big boot to drop Owens. Owens blocks a Samoan Drop. They trade shots in the middle of the ring now. Reigns misses a clothesline but hits the Samoan Drop for a 2 count. Reigns ends up hitting a Drive By but Owens catches him with a superkick for a 2 count. Owens steps on Reigns’ face and goes to the top but Reigns cuts him off with a right, and another. Reigns climbs up for a superplex but it’s blocked and Reigns goes to the mat. Reigns nails a Superman punch and they both end up on the floor. Reigns with another Superman punch. Owens hits the apron head first. Reigns brings it back in. Owens blocks a spear but Reigns follows up and nails a spear for the win and the title shot at Roadblock.
Winner: Roman Reigns

– Charly tries to interview Owens backstage but he can’t believe it. He says he and Jericho are still best friends, they just had an argument. Following the attack from Seth Rollins, he couldn’t stop thinking about how Jericho was doing while in the ring with Reigns. He lost to Reigns only because he was concerned about Jericho and Foley should reverse things. Owens ends up sending Charly on her way.
– We get a look at Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at WWE Survivor Series and go to Michael Cole with Paul Heyman in a pre-recorded interview.
Heyman says they screwed up, there’s no denying it. They took Goldberg lightly. He says fantasy warfare just got real. Goldberg is a relic that stepped back in the ring after 12 years and they thought it was going to be the easiest payday of Brock’s career. Heyman says from the gate, Goldberg hit the spear and cracked Lesnar’s ribs… then when you can’t breathe, you can’t fight. Cole asks how Lesnar is dealing with all this. Heyman says Cole doesn’t care. Heyman is emotional here. He says the ribs come with the job but the humiliation is what’s bad. Heyman says this is part of Lesnar’s legacy now, it goes in the record books that he got beat in less than 2 minutes. Heyman says they have had ups and downs but this is embarrassing and has put Lesnar in the mind-set that he has something to prove, which scares Heyman because that moment can define you, destroy you or drive you to greater heights than you’ve ever achieved before. Heyman tells Cole to think about what a Lesnar with something to prove is going to be capable of. Heyman doesn’t think we’ve ever seen this side of Lesnar. Cole asks what’s next. Heyman says if Lesnar has something to prove, he’s going to prove it at the Royal Rumble. Heyman confirms Lesnar will be in the 30-man main event with Goldberg in January.
– We get another vignette for Emma’s return as Emmalina. The wait is almost over.
RAW Tag Team Title Match: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The New Day
We go to the ring and out comes RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day. They cut promos on retaining last week and breaking Demolition’s record soon. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson interrupt and it’s time for the match.
Gallows and Anderson ambush to start and keep control for a pin attempt. We go to commercial with The Club in control.
Back from the break and Gallows is going at it with Xavier Woods. Kofi Kingston, who’s not in the match, interferes and allows Woods to drop Gallows with a kick.
Big E and Anderson go at it now. Big E unloads but Anderson cuts him off. Big E ends up spearing Anderson from the apron and they land hard on the outside. Big E brings it back in and Woods tags in. Gallows kicks Big E in the head, stopping the double team. Anderson catches Woods in a spinebuster for a close 2 count. Gallows tags in for the big double team but Woods still kicks out at 2. Anderson tags back in for a Magic Killer but Big E interrupts. Gallows manhandles Big E. Anderson scoops Woods but Woods fights him off. Anderson runs into a kick. Woods with the Honor Roll but it’s blocked. Woods with a big elbow. Anderson with an uppercut. Anderson with a roll up for 2. Woods with a roll up for the win.
Winners: The New Day
– After the match, The New Day hits the ramp to celebrate as we go to replays.
– We go backstage to Sasha Banks getting ready. Bayley walks in and says tonight’s main event is a huge deal. She came to say good luck but knows Sasha doesn’t need it. She doesn’t care if this is Charlotte’s hometown… Bayley goes on but Sasha cuts her off. Sasha means no disrespect but this isn’t about Bayley right now. It’s not about Sasha, it’s about the title. Sasha goes on about Charlotte disrespecting everyone, including her father Ric Flair. Sasha says this town needs a real champion and a real celebration. She’s dedicating her win to Ric tonight. She says she will become a three-time RAW Women’s Champion tonight so Charlotte better be ready. Bayley wishes her good luck and walks off. We go to commercial.
Falls Count Anywhere for the RAW Women’s Title: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte
We go to the ring and our first comes Sasha Banks for the main event. RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is out next. They go at it and Sasha sends Charlotte to the floor early on, then goes for a dive. Sasha keeps control and hits a suplex on the floor. Sasha brings it back in and ducks a clothesline. Sasha with a kick. Sasha kicks Charlotte back out of the ring. They collide on the floor with clotheslines and both go down. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Charlotte is in control. Charlotte wastes time going for the Figure Four. Sasha counters and ends up hitting knees to the face. Sasha with running knees in the corner. Sasha fights her off but misses more knees in the corner. Charlotte tries to suplex Sasha from the ring to the floor but Sasha lands on the apron. They trade chops and rights on the apron. Sasha unloads but Charlotte kicks her in the head. Sasha hits the floor and is out.
Charlotte with a 2 count on the floor. Charlotte goes on and hits a Natural Selection from the steel steps but Sasha still kicks out at 2. Sasha unloads on Charlotte with a kendo stick now. More back and forth. Charlotte with a neckbreaker on the floor. Charlotte ends up getting the Figure Eight applied on the floor. It’s broken and they end up fighting to the stage. Charlotte sends Sasha to the floor. Sasha walks over to the announce table and nails a huge moonsault to the floor but Sasha still kicks out at 2. Charlotte with another cover for 2. Fans chant “this is awesome” now.
Charlotte drags Sasha back to the ringside area now. Sasha fights back and back drops Charlotte on the floor. Sasha leaps off the barrier with the double knees for a 2 count on the floor. Charlotte starts hyping herself up. Sasha with kendo stick shots now. They fight back into the crowd and up a set of stairs now. Sasha gets the Banks Statement applied on the railing and Charlotte taps out for the finish.
Winner and New RAW Women’s Champion: Sasha Banks
– After the match, Sasha gets emotional and heads back to the ring for her celebration. The music hits and out comes WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair to a big pop. Flair enters the ring and hugs Sasha, giving her a huge endorsement. He raises her arm as the celebration continues. Flair leaves and Sasha’s music hits. We see Charlotte looking on from the steps crying. RAW goes off the air with Sasha celebrating with the title.
