Main Event Tapings After SmackDown, James Ellsworth Gets His Contract, Dean Ambrose and Kane Team

– As seen on last night’s WWE SmackDown, James Ellsworth defeated WWE World Champion AJ Styles in a Ladder Match to earn his SmackDown contract from Commissioner Shane McMahon. You can see video from the match below. As noted, Ellsworth recently announced at an indie show that he was offered a WWE deal and is working with the company full-time.

– After the Main Event tapings in Ottawa, the quick dark main event saw Dean Ambrose and Kane take on Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. The finish saw Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds and Kane hit a chokeslam for the win.
