Spoiler Update on the WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

Last night’s WWE NXT Live event in San Jose featured a tournament match from the Dusty Rhodes Classic, wherein Shane Thorne defeated Roderick Strong in singles action. This was originally supposed to feature both members of TM-61, not just Thorne, as well as Austin Aries. However, as was earlier reported, Aries suffered the injury at Thursday’s live event. General Manager William Regal made Strong vs. Thorne last night in San Jose.

Last night’s show also featured The Authors of Pain defeating Rich Swann and No Way Jose to also advance to the next round of the tournament.
