Former WWE Tag Team Champions The Headbangers surprised fans when they returned to WWE in August. Mosh and Thrasher showed little rust competing in a WWE ring for the first time in many years, but were ultimately beaten by Heath Slater and Rhyno in the first round of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tournament.
We have not seen the last of them as the former titleholders revealed Thursday on Twitter that they will be returning to SmackDown LIVE next week for a chance to qualify for the Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match

SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan announced on Oct. 25 that a series of qualifying matches will be held in the coming weeks to determine which duos join SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater and Rhyno on the team.
Slater and Rhyno, by virtue of being the champions, were granted a spot on the 10-Superstar team for SmackDown LIVE. Meanwhile, The Hype Bros, Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley, fought their way into the mix by defeating The Ascension in a qualifying bout.
