It was reported on Sunday that WWE released Sara Lee, who beat out hundreds, if not thousands of other women to win Tough Enough last year. She was not the only female talent from NXT let go late last week as Squared Circle Sirens has also confirmed the release of CJ Dunning.
Dunning is a former Air Force ROTC member and nationally ranked bodybuilding bikini competitor from Las Vegas, Nevada. She was among a class of 10 recruits that began training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in April.
Dunning had yet to compete at an NXT live event, let alone introduce herself. She did, however, meet with fans at shows.
