Backstage Notes on the WWE RAW Fatal 4 Way and Triple H Turning on Seth Rollins

Triple H made a surprise return to the WWE last night on RAW and helped Kevin Owens become the second Universal Champion in history. He attacked Roman Reigns, and then set his sights on Seth Rollins. Triple H then had a staredown with Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon before walking off.

It’s possible that this is leading to Triple H vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 33, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Rollins vs. Triple H was one of their original plans last year before Rollins got hurt and went down with an injury.

Regarding last night’s Fatal 4 Way with Rollins, Reigns, Owens and Big Cass, the Elimination stipulation was decided on some time in the past few days.
