Sheamus vs. Cesaro Best of 7 News, WWE on SummerSlam’s Social Media Dominance, AJ Styles

– The Fite TV app has released a new four-hour documentary on AJ Styles’ road to WWE. Below is a preview:

– As noted, the second match in the “Best of 7 Series” between Cesaro and Sheamus will take place on next week’s RAW from Houston. The winner of that series will receive a title shot of some sort. No word yet on if that will be a WWE United States Title shot or a WWE Universal Title shot.

– WWE posted this graphic noting that SummerSlam was the most socially active TV show on Sunday night, beating out the Olympics, Big Brother and Fear the Walking Dead. It should be noted that Nielsen did not rank SummerSlam in their nightly social media ratings. Their top 5 series & specials for Sunday night were Power, Big Brother, Fear the Walking Dead, The Voice and The Night Of. It is very possible that WWE had the highest-ranked show of the night but Nielsen left them off the chart. Their top 5 sporting events for Sunday were the Olympics, MLB’s Red Sox vs. Tigers game, MLB’s Mets vs. Giants game, Spanish Primera’s Real Sociedad vs. Real Madrid game and the MLS Timbers vs. Sounders game.
