Backstage Note on Paul Heyman’s WWE Status After Contract Expires

We reported earlier via The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Paul Heyman’s WWE contract has expired.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Heyman is still expected to be featured alongside Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam for his highly-publicized match with Randy Orton next month.

Although Heyman is not currently under contract, there was no falling out between he and WWE – the contract simply expired and there was no rush to re-signed.
