Simon Gotch Off the Road Due to Fight?, WWE NXT Superstar Busted Open, WWE Returning to Chile

– As noted, there was a backstage fight at this week’s WWE SmackDown tapings between Sin Cara and Simon Gotch. The fight was said to be one-sided with Cara getting the best of Gotch. It appears Gotch was pulled from the road due to the fight as he did not work last night’s WWE live event in Newark, DE. Vaudevillains partner Aiden English appeared and worked a singles match, losing to Apollo Crews. Sin Cara is on the road this weekend as he teamed with Jack Swagger last night but lost to The Shining Stars.

– The WWE RAW brand will run a live event in Santiago, Chile on October 6th at the Movistar Arena. Tickets go on sale today. Superstars advertised include Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Sasha Banks, WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day.

– Patrick Clark suffered a bad gash to his head during a loss to Hideo Itami at last night’s WWE NXT live event in Ocala, Florida. The injury came at the end of the match, right before the finish, and Clark was tended to by a medic after. Clark tweeted the following after the match:
