Naomi on Her WWE Status, More on the Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe Match, Rapper Wants to Work for WWE

– Rapper Wale was backstage for the WWE Royal Rumble and RAW this week. He told TMZ he’s back on good terms with the company after being “blackballed” for almost 2 years after punching a fan in the face in 2014 at RAW in Washington, DC. A WWE rep told TMZ that there was never an official ban on Wale being at WWE events. Wale, who posted photos with Triple H and Vince McMahon, told TMZ he wants to work for WWE:

“I actually want to work there and I don’t know if [Vince and Triple H] heard about good Wale or bad Wale. Or if they even know what a Wale is.”

– As noted, WWE NXT taped a big Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn 2 of 3 Falls match at last night’s tapings. The match went almost an hour and was said to be really good. Before the match happened, Sasha Banks, Hideo Itami, Michael “PS” Hayes and Larry Zbyszko were brought out to ringside for a camera shot in the crowd, then taken back to the back.

– As noted, “Road Dogg” BG James revealed on Twitter that Naomi has been out of action with an undisclosed injury. She tweeted the following and says it was not ring related but she will be back in action next week:
