– Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a look back at last week’s show with the McMahons, Sheamus and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. We’re live from New Orleans as Michael Cole welcomes us. He’s joined by JBL and Byron Saxton.
– The whole male Superstar roster is lined up on the stage. “No Chance” hits and out comes Vince McMahon with Stephanie McMahon.
Vince and Stephanie are happy but fans boo. They wonder which Superstar on the stage will be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. They’re confident Reigns will lose the title in the 30-man Royal Rumble match. Vince says it could be Dolph Ziggler. He says Dolph has reached for the brass ring for 10 years and now could be his time. Stephanie says it could be Kevin Owens’ win, he could cement his first year as the greatest in WWE history. Vince says it could be… he feels a Hallelujah coming on. Vince says it could be The New Day and we see the WWE Tag Team Champions dancing on the stage. Vince and Stephanie say “that ain’t booty” and the lights go out. The Wyatt Family has arrived.
Wyatt repeats something he’s said all along – anyone but Roman. Vince agrees and says it could even be Brock Lesnar. The music interrupts and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns through the crowd to a pop. Stephanie mocks the fans for not getting their chants right. She asks Reigns if he came to beat her dad up again. Fans cheer and Vince doesn’t think so. He asks why Reigns is out here, pal. Reigns just has one question – what happens if he wins at the Rumble. Stephanie starts laughing and says Reigns is delusional. Back and forth leads to Vince revealing a 1 vs. All Match later with Reigns. Also, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose is in our first match. Sheamus nails Ambrose from behind on the stage and that’s his opponent. We go to commercial as Sheamus makes his way to the ring.
Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus
Back from the break and Sheamus is in control. Fans chant “you look stupid” as he works Ambrose over with uppercuts in the corner. Ambrose turns it around with strikes but Sheamus sends him to the floor.
Sheamus keeps control and cuts off the comeback attempts. Ambrose finally blocks Sheamus on the apron and hits headbutts. Ambrose hits forearms to the chest but Sheamus beats him down and is mad at him for using his own move to embarrass him. Sheamus launches Ambrose into the barrier and slams him on top of the announce table. Sheamus brings it back in and keeps Ambrose grounded. Ambrose finally makes a comeback and nails a dive as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Sheamus nails an Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus applies the Cloverleaf now. Ambrose makes it to the bottom rope and breaks the hold. More back and forth. Ambrose with a neckbreaker for a 2 count. Ambrose goes to the top but Ambrose brings him down for White Noise. Ambrose rolls him up for a 2 count. Sheamus runs into the ring post shoulder first. Ambrose with a big tornado DDT for another 2 count. Ambrose with the big elbow off the top for a close 2 count. Sheamus blocks Dirty Deeds. Ambrose blocks White Noise and hits the big clothesline. Sheamus rolls to the floor.
Ambrose goes for another dive but runs into a shot to the mouth from Sheamus. Sheamus sends Ambrose into the barrier and then again on the other side of the ring. Sheamus tosses Ambrose into the barrier beside JBL now, then into the steel steps. Ambrose counters and rams Ambrose into the ring post. Ambrose slams his head into the ring post twice as they get counted out.
Double Count Out
– Ambrose sends Sheamus into the steel steps and then the announce table. Another shot into the steps. Ambrose loses it as fans cheer and he takes apart the announce table. Kevin Owens attacks from behind and beats up on Ambrose. Owens talks trash as referees try to pull him off Ambrose. Owens gets past them and attacks Ambrose again. Owens’ music hits and he makes his exit, talking trash about Ambrose and the Intercontinental Title.
– The announcers are standing up as they plug the WWE Network. Still to come, The Highlight Reel with The New Day. Also, Roman Reigns in a 1 vs. All match. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and Renee Young is outside of the trainer’s room, where Ambrose was just brought. He comes busting out the door and trainers are trying to stop him. Dean tells Renee to feel his pulse, that means he’s still breathing and still alive. He says that’s bad news for Kevin Owens. Ambrose walks off and the trainers are after him.
– We see Vince and Stephanie dancing and walking down a hall. They walk up on Paul Heyman and exchange hellos. Heyman gives them props for the 1 vs. All match. Heyman brings up their mention of Brock Lesnar possibly being in the match. Heyman ends up proposing Lesnar vs. the Rumble winner because it would be at WrestleMania 32. Vince doesn’t like the idea and goes to insult Heyman but Stephanie cuts him off and brings them in the office to talk in private.
Stardust vs. Titus O’Neil
We go to the ring and out comes Stardust, paying tribute to rock legend David Bowie, who passed away today at the age of 69. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes Titus O’Neil. We see New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees at ringside with his son. They go at it to start the match. Titus with a big chop in the corner, and another.
Titus keeps control and manhandles Stardust, tossing him across the ring. Stardust comes back and puts the boots to Titus after taking his knee out. Fans chant “Cody” as he dropkicks Titus for a 1 count. Stardust has Titus down but Titus power ups with Stardust on his back. Titus makes a comeback and drops Stardust with a big boot.
Titus barks and smiles before splashing Stardust in the corner. Stardust blocks a move and slams Titus for a 2 count. Stardust goes to the top but lands on his feet. Titus catches him in Clash of the Titus for the win.
Winner: Titus O’Neil
– After the match, Titus starts celebrating as we go to replays. Titus goes to ringside and celebrates with a young fan at the barrier. Stardust attacks from behind and beats Titus down to boos. Stardust leaves as his music plays and Titus tries to recover.

– Back from the break and out comes Chris Jericho to a big pop. We get a look back at last week where he returned to interrupt The New Day, and enter himself in the Royal Rumble match. Jericho enters the ring and it’s all decked out for another edition of The Highlight Reel. We’re welcomed to RAW Is Jericho and The Highlight Reel. Jericho says everyone has been talking about how he’s back to save WWE once again.
Jericho points out his new mini-tron in the ring and shows a bunch of social media reactions to his return. Jericho says he will win the Rumble and walk out of Orlando as a 7-time champion. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day interrupt with their intro and out they come to the ring. They cut promos on the way to the ring. Xavier Woods says it was their job to come save Jericho’s show from himself because he wouldn’t introduce his guests. Big E says they have had enough of Jericho talking that hot garbage and booty chatter. Jericho interrupts him, gives a nod to Lemmy, and gets the “rooty tooty booty” chant going. The New Day doesn’t like it and they’ve had enough of Jericho’s shameful return to WWE. The Usos’ music hits and out they come with mics to interrupt.
The Usos tell them to prove they’re a better tag team. The Usos are in the ring now. Jericho calls one of The New Day a dumbass and proposes Kofi Kingston and Big E with Woods in their corner vs. The Usos with Jericho in their corner. Jericho gives a nod to David Bowie in this segment as well. It looks like the match is on. Jericho’s music hits as the two teams argue and we go to commercial.
The Usos vs. The New Day
Back from the break and the match is underway. Kofi Kingston goes at it with Jey Uso. Xavier Woods and Chris Jericho are at ringside. Uso drops Kofi and tags in Jimmy Uso for some double teaming and a pin attempt.
Big E gets the tab and runs Uso over. He dances and runs the ropes for a splash but Uso jumps up and drops him. Uso tags in and nails Big E in the corner while his brother holds him. Uso also dances and even dabs. Big E doesn’t like it. Another double team and tag by The Usos. Jey runs into a big elbow from Big E. Kofi tags back in and goes to work on Uso. More back and forth now. Jimmy tags in and goes at it with Kofi. Jimmy unloads and hits a dropkick in the corner. Jimmy with the Rikishi splash and a 2 count. Uso goes to the top but Kofi launches him off and to the floor. Woods comes playing his trombone around the ring but he runs into Jericho. Woods runs away up the ramp as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and The New Day is in control. Big E splashes Jimmy on the apron for a 2 count. Big E with an abdominal stretch now. Jey finally gets a hot tag after The New Day keeps control. Jey unloads and goes to the top on Big E. He nails a crossbody for a 2 count. Uso readies for the finish but Big E hits a belly-to-belly for a 2 count. Big E drops his straps for the Big Ending. Uso slides out of it and nails a superkick. Kofi tags himself in and springboards in but Uso kicks him on the way down. Uso goes to the top but Woods jumps on the apron to distract the referee. Kofi crotches Uso. Jericho scares Woods with the trombone and breaks it to a big pop. Woods throws a fit on his knees and starts crying. Uso rolls a distracted Kofi up for the non-title win.
Winners: The Usos
– After the bell, Jericho hits the ramp with The Usos to celebrate.
– Still to come, Vince McMahon’s version of One Versus All for Roman Reigns.
– The announcers talk about John Cena’s shoulder surgery. Cole says Cena was out doing rehab the day after surgery. Still to come, Kalisto gets a United States Title shot. Back to commercial.
– Stephanie and Heyman are backstage. He’s trying to sell her on the idea of Lesnar vs. the Rumble winner at WrestleMania and wants her to convince Vince also. Heyman tells her to inform Vince and Triple H that Lesnar says no to the Rumble. She tells Heyman to inform Lesnar that the man who owns Lesnar’s contract says he will compete in the Rumble. Stephanie tells Heyman to never get that close to her either. Heyman says he will do this one favor for Stephanie and walks off.
– We go to the ring and JBL has a mic. He announces Sting for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class and we get a video package.
– We go to the ring and out comes The Wyatt Family. Back to commercial.
– Back from the break and The Wyatt Family is in the ring. They’re quickly interrupted by the Social Outcasts. Heath Slater and his new partners cut promos and want a match.
Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman vs. Heath Slater, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel
Braun starts off overpowering Rose and Bo. Axel tags in and goes at it with Braun but Braun just takes the strikes and floors Axel. Bray tells Braun to let him finish this quick match. Wyatt tags in and Ryback’s music hits. He runs out and ducks Braun on the ramp. Harper and Rowan beat him down as he slides into the ring. Bo and Slater make the save. Braun pulls Bray to safety. Ryback dumps Harper to the floor over the top. Rowan fights Bo and Slater off. Ryback clotheslines Rowan over the top. Fans chant “feed me more” as Ryback stands with the Social Outcasts and his music hits.
– We get a look at John Cena on SmackDown and his role in Kalisto’s non-title upset win over WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio. Renee is backstage with Kalisto now. Kalisto says the US Title means the world to him because it symbolizes opportunity to him. Kalisto says Cena gave everyone a chance as champion. He says Eddie Guerrero fought with pride but Del Rio isn’t a true champion. Kalisto says he’s giving it his all tonight. We go to commercial.
WWE United States Title Match: Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio
Back from the break and out comes WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio. He asks fans if they want to see John Cena and most fans cheer. Del Rio says Cena won’t be here tonight because he took him out. He says Cena also won’t be in the Royal Rumble and won’t be at WrestleMania because Del Rio broke him. He talks trash about Kalisto next, comparing him to a mosquito and saying he’s going to squash him tonight. Kalisto is out next to cheers. We get formal ring introductions from Lilian Garcia.
The bell rings and Del Rio immediately beats Kalisto down and goes to work. Del Rio with a snap suplex and a big DDT. Kalisto rolls to the floor for a breather. Del Rio follows and yells out to the crowd for boos. Del Rio rolls Kalisto back in and goes to the top. Del Rio waits on Kalisto get up and jumps off the top for a 2 count. Del Rio takes Kalisto to the top for a superplex. Kalisto blocks it and headbutts Del Rio to the mat. Kalisto comes off the top with a senton. Kalisto with a corkscrew and more offense. Del Rio catches a hurricanrana and powerbombs Kalisto for a 2 count.
Del Rio throws Kalisto back to the floor and follows. Del Rio kicks Kalisto against the barrier and brings him back in for a 2 count. Del Rio with a headlock now. Kalisto breaks out and nails a crossbody for a 2 count. Del Rio with a big clothesline for a 2 count. Kalisto manages to take Del Rio down and send him to the floor for a breather. Kalisto runs the ropes for a dive but Del Rio side steps and launches Kalisto into the barrier. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Kalisto is up top. Del Rio turns around and side steps a crossbody, slamming Kalisto out of the air again. Del Rio with a 2 count. Del Rio keeps control and goes to the top but Kalisto crotches him. Kalisto climbs up and hits the hurricanrana. Kalisto ducks clotheslines and hits a corkscrew off the second rope. Kalisto with a big tornado DDT for a close 2 count.
Del Rio catches Kalisto in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Del Rio readies for the superkick but Kalisto ducks, kicks and rolls Del Rio up for a close 2 count. Kalisto goes back to the top but Del Rio nails him from behind. Del Rio climbs up and slams Kalisto on his face from the top. Kalisto fights back but Del Rio slams his ribs over the top rope, blocking Salida del Sol. Del Rio turns Kalisto upside down in the corner and unloads with kicks. Kalisto is still upside down as Del Rio climbs up for the stomp. He misses and Kalisto breaks free. He slams Del Rio on his face with a scissors and covers for a close 2 count. More back and forth until Kalisto gets the win and the title with a roll-up.

– After the match, Kalisto grabs his title and celebrates as we go to replays. We come back and Kalisto makes his exit still celebrating.
– We get a look at Charlotte turning on Becky Lynch last week. JoJo is backstage with the WWE Divas Champion and her father Ric Flair. JoJo asks her to explain her actions last week. Charlotte isn’t happy about being asked this questioned again. Charlotte brags about how good she is and says Becky will never be as good as she is. Charlotte says if anything, Becky is the villain and she’s the victim. They walk off and Flair comes back to tell JoJo that was his daughter, and to “whooo!” before we go to commercial.
Charlotte vs. Brie Bella
Back from the break and out comes Brie Bella with Alicia Fox. WWE Divas Champion Charlotte is out next with Ric Flair for this non-title match. As soon Charlotte rolls in the ring, Becky Lynch attacks her and unloads. Fans chant Becky’s name as she beats Charlotte around the ring. The referee tries to keep her held back but she keeps up the attack on Charlotte. Officials finally pull Becky out of the ring and up the ramp. She yells back about how she’s taking the title with her. Flair takes the mic, enters the ring and asks what the hell she’s doing. Flair says Charlotte is in no condition to wrestle and the match is off. Brie doesn’t like that. Flair says it’s all Becky’s fault. They leave and Flair makes the referee hand him his coat. Flair calls a fan in the crowd a “fat boy” and drops the mic. Charlotte’s music hits as Flair struts and Team Bella looks on from the ring.
– We see Heyman and Lesnar backstage talking. Lesnar looks pissed off as we go to commercial.
– Back from the break and we see what happened with the Divas. JoJo is backstage with Becky. She’s upset about Charlotte turning her back on their friendship. Becky seems a little emotional about being on her own now but straightens up and says maybe that’s how it should be. Becky says we can be certain she’s going to make Charlotte surrender again.
One vs. All Match: Roman Reigns vs. The Ascension, The New Day, Stardust, The Wyatt Family, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Kevin Owens, Tyler Breeze
We go to the ring and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. He must face a series of opponents picked by Vince McMahon. Reigns hits the turnbuckles as we go to commercial.
We come back and Vince and Stephanie come to the stage. They’re joined by a bunch of heels. They all walk down and surround the ring. Stephanie and Vince say Reigns will face each Superstar until he can’t move. Vince and Stephanie have a seat at ringside. Vince tells Kevin Owens to get in the ring first. Vince tells Owens to “sic him!” and they go to work for several minutes. Owens goes to the floor for a breather and the other heels encourage him. Owens comes back in and beats Reigns into the corner. Owens takes control and keeps Reigns grounded.
Reigns gets up and goes for a big Samoan Drop but Owens slides out and lands on his feet. Reigns with a neckbreaker as Vince looks on. Sheamus distracts Reigns, allowing Owens to drop him on the apron. Reigns falls to the floor. Owens with a splash on the floor. Vince and Stephanie are all smiles as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Owens is still in control. He sends Reigns to the floor and hits a big fall-away slam into the barrier. Owens brings it back in the ring for a 2 count. During the break, Owens hit a big frogsplash from the apron to the floor on Reigns. Owens keeps Reigns grounded on the mat now.
Fans chant for Reigns as he started fighting to his feet. Reigns slams Owens. Owens with a big superkick and a 2 count. Owens keeps Reigns grounded with another headlock now. Reigns rams Owens back into the corner but runs into the ring post after going to another side of the ring. Owens with the corner cannonball as everyone looks on and cheers. Reigns kicks out at 2. Owens wastes time and misses the senton as Reigns moves. Owens runs into a boot. They trade big right hands in the middle of the ring. Reigns finally makes a big comeback and stares at the McMahons. Vince stands up. Reigns rams Owens back into the corner and unloads with clotheslines. Reigns with more offense and a big boot to drop Owens. He taunts Stephanie and Vince some more.
Stardust and Tyler Breeze come in but get taken out. Owens also sent to the floor after a Superman punch. Reigns spears Breeze. Reigns asks Vince if that’s all he has. Vince sends everyone left into the ring and they beat Reigns down. They hold Reigns while Sheamus nails a Brogue Kick. Brock Lesnar’s music suddenly hits and out he comes with Paul Heyman to a huge pop.
Lesnar with a double clothesline on Kofi and Woods. A German suplex for Big E and then Owens. Lesnar drops Del Rio. Sheamus beats on Lesnar in the corner and unloads. Lesnar tries to fight back and clotheslines him. Del Rio takes a German. Sheamus takes a belly-to-belly. Lesnar stands tall as fans pop. Vince and Steph8anie look on. Heyman is at ringside. Lesnar walks over to Reigns, who is laid out in the corner. Lesnar drags him into the middle of the ring as Reigns starts to recover. Lesnar grabs him and nails a F5 to a big pop. Lesnar’s music hits and he leaves Reigns laying. Lesnar stops with Heyman and they look back at Reigns in the ring. Lesnar is coming to the Royal Rumble. Lesnar and Heyman march up the ramp as Reigns nods at them from the mat. RAW goes off the air with Lesnar and Reigns laughing at each other.
