– While the floor was filled up at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for tonight’s WWE live event with Brock Lesnar, there were upper sections that they had to tarp off.
– Ring announcer JoJo announced before the show that John Cena would not be there because of his injury and that fans could receive refunds for the first 20 minutes of the show. His replacement ended up being Chris Jericho, who defeated WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match as the opener.
– Lesnar returned to the ring at tonight’s live event in Houston. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, Lesnar received a big welcome and went on to defeat Sheamus in under 10 minutes. A correspondent in attendance noted that the two worked a very stiff match and Lesnar had marks on his face from taking two Brogue Kicks. He was also bleeding. Not to be outdone, Lesnar hit more than 10 German suplexes on Sheamus. Below are some photos:
