– In an update from earlier, it appears the segment with King Barrett and The Undertaker at tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings in England was a dark segment. The segment began with King Barrett ripping on soccer star Wayne Rooney and the fans in Manchester, saying he would get Vince McMahon to guarantee that WWE never returns to the city. This brought out The Undertaker, who did his full entrance to a big pop. Barrett asked The Dead Man, “Can I help you, mate?” Barrett also threatened a Bullhammer but ended up backing down and then Taker beat him up. Taker went to leave the ring but had a second thought and came back in to deliver two Tombstone piledrivers to Barrett.
– As noted, Corey Graves and Triple H appeared at Chris Nowinski’s Concussion Legacy Foundation’s 8th annual Impact Awards in Boston last week and presented the foundation with a check. That check was for $1.5 million. WWE Community has photos from the event at this link.
– James Storm is still teasing a return to WWE NXT on Twitter. He wrote the following in response to a tweet from NXT today:
Will we ever stop talking about @JamesStormBrand's shocking @WWENXT debut? Doubtful. #SorryAboutYourDamnLuck #WWENXT
