Update on WWE Planning a New United States Title Belt, NXT Reaction to Takeover News, Norman Smiley

– WWE NXT trainer Norman Smiley was said to be a hit on the dance floor at the WrestleMania 31 after party.

– We noted before that WWE incorrectly announced the NXT Takeover specials as happening monthly before fixing their announcement as the specials will still air quarterly. A lot of the NXT talents were disappointed in the news but much of the NXT roster is still on a high from WrestleMania week.

– As noted, WWE officials have commissioned artwork for a new United States Title design to be created. One source reports this was done at Cena’s request but that hasn’t be confirmed yet.
