Backstage Note on Lana and Rusev, Update on Blue Pants’ WWE NXT Heat, Possible WWE Signing

– Scottish indie wrestler Nikki Storm is expected to start working with WWE soon. She has had two WWE tryouts in the past year.

– The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed the reports of Leva “Blue Pants” Bates likely being done with WWE NXT. The Observer notes that Blue Pants getting over the way she did got her some heat backstage and “ruffled some feathers.” WWE officials continued using her because she was over and they knew she would get a big pop at “Takeover: Brooklyn” as the mystery partner for The Vaudevillains. Once Alexa Bliss beat Blue Pants, that was supposed to be the end of her run.

– We noted before that WWE officials were aware of Rusev and Lana’s real-life engagement before TMZ broke the story last week, forcing them to change plans. With that said, Vince McMahon was not happy it got out.
