– Variety reports that Josh Gad and Ryan Dixon will be writing the script for WWE Studios’ biopic on wrestling legend George Raymond Wagner, better known as Gorgeous George.

“Gorgeous George” will look at the life and career of George, who helped bring sports into the TV age. WWE Studios boss Michael Luisi commented:

“Gorgeous George was a true pioneer in television. Josh is a true talent and we are thrilled to see him and Ryan tackle such a groundbreaking story.”
