– As noted, the September 29th WWE SmackDown tapings in Albany, New York drew 4,000 fans and had the upper section tarped off. Albany is usually a strong market for WWE. Crews were upgrading seats on Tuesday night so they could sit closer to the ring and fill things in for the camera.
– We noted on Tuesday that Dean Ambrose vs. King Barrett was taped for this week’s WWE Main Event. That match was actually a dark match as it did not air on this week’s episode. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds and won the match, which was Barrett’s first match back since returning on RAW the night before.
– WWE is planning on running live events in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden on their April 2016 European tour. These are two markets WWE usually doesn’t run in. They also don’t have TV in these markets but are working on getting TV deals in both Sweden and Norway. UFC has success on TV in both countries.
