Sasha Banks Responds To Fans Who Chanted For Brock Lesnar and JBL During Her Match On Raw

For just the second time in WWE history, the NXT Women’s Champion and WWE Divas Champion went one-on-one during an episode of Raw when Sasha Banks squared off with Nikki Bella.

Unfortunately for the two competitors, fans in attendance that evening were not overly receptive to the bout, chanting for the likes of Brock Lesnar and John “Bradshaw” Layfield.

Banks recently responded to a fan on her Tumblr account who asked her about how she felt about the aforementioned chants.

The fan wrote, “I was in attendance at RAW tonight and I would just like to defend those of us that tried our hardest to get people to stop chanting those things. I even yelled at a drunk guy in front of me. I’m very ashamed that this happened…?”

She responded, “They want change yet don’t change themselves.”

Banks is set to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley Saturday night at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. She’ll also be a part of the Three Team Elimination Match at SummerSlam featuring Team Bella, PCB and Team B.A.D.
