— After winning the 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match, Becky Lynch has a guaranteed Women’s Title Match against the champion of her choice at WrestleMania 35. But she also might have earned a different challenge all together after attracting the attention of “The Great One” himself, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
When a fan asked Lynch when we were going to see Lynch take on “The People’s Champ” during an #AskTheMan session on Twitter on Sunday, The Rock himself joined the conversation and seemed more than agreeable to the idea, saying that such a bout would “break all @wwe records” and that it would be “winner take all.”
Always up for a challenge, “The Man” replied, “You’re on. Let’s make some history. #TheManSmellsWhatsCookin.”
— During the Royal Rumble Kickoff, Lana injured her leg during a spot in the United States Championship Match where Rusev inadvertently knocked her off the apron instead of Shinsuke Nakamura. She entered the Royal Rumble at No. 28 and took her time getting to the ring. When Nia Jax entered at No. 29, she immediately took out Lana, targeting her bad leg. Becky Lynch, who lost to SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka earlier in the show, persuaded WWE official Fit Finlay to sanction her entry into the match in place of Lana, which she ultimately won.
In this backstage interview with Dasha Fuentes, an emotionally devastated Lana vows to remain resilient, despite how things unfolded at Royal Rumble for her and Rusev.
