UK Indie Wrestler Reportedly Impresses WWE Officials, Maven Returning to Wrestling, Darren Young

– Former WWE Superstar and Tough Enough winner Maven will be returning to pro wrestling for Curt Hawkins’ Create-A-Pro school & promotion on July 19th. Maven cuts a promo for the event in the video below:

– Wrestling fan and filmmaker Drew Chiminec, who worked on the Darren Young “Comeback” mini-documentary, noted on Reddit that Darren donated $500 to the Indiegogo campaign for a movie Drew is working on.

– RingSirens reports that women’s wrestler Nikki Storm impressed WWE officials at a tryout in Tokyo, Japan this past weekend. Storm, who was in Japan working with the Stardom promotion, is an indie wrestler from the UK and received a tryout with WWE earlier this year when they were in London.
