Another Champion vs. Champion Match Scheduled For Survivor Series, Rusev and Lana Explain MMC Loss

– It was announced on Raw this week that Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will face SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in a Champion vs. Champion Match at Survivor Series (their respective titles will not be on the line). Another Champion vs. Champion Match is set for the pay-per-view, albeit unofficially.

During last night’s match on SmackDown LIVE between United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and R-Truth, play-by-play commentator Tom Philips said the United States Champion will take on the Intercontinental Champion at Survivor Series.

Seth Rollins, who holds the Intercontinental Championship, was not mentioned by name by Tom Philips.

WWE is promoting Survivor Series as the one night of the year where Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE face off. WWE, however, has not indicated whether all of the champions will face off at the event.

– Plagued by an 0-3 record in WWE Mixed Match Challenge following their loss to Fenomenal Flair, Rusev and Lana try to put their misfortune into words.
