New TNA World Heavyweight Champion Crowned Last Night (Photo)

Eddie Edwards defeated Bobby Lashley last night on TNA Impact to become the TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

This is Edwards first run as TNA world champion, however he is a two-time TNA X Division Champion and a five-time TNA Tag Team Champion. Edwards is also a former Ring of Honor World Champion.

Lashley won the title on June 12th at Slammiversary.
