Kimberly Page first wowed WCW fans as the valet for Diamond Dallas Page, who won $13 million playing bingo in Las Vegas. DDP, feeling particularly lucky, put a date with his Diamond Doll on the line in a series of arm wrestling matches.
It was eventually revealed that Kimberly actually had the winning bingo card, but Page snatched it out of her hands and claimed it for himself. In November 1995, the beautiful brunette got freed from Page’s evil grasp by Johnny B. Badd.
For Kimberly, time apparently healed all wounds. After stints escorting Badd and The Booty Man (who called her The Booty Babe) to ringside, she returned to Page’s side in March 1997 when he battled “Macho Man” Randy Savage. She evened things out for “The Master of the Diamond Cutter” when Elizabeth got involved in their epic encounters.
Kimberly wasn’t just a pretty face, either. An accomplished dancer, she helped organize the popular Nitro Girls dance troupe. The fame may have gotten to her head in 2000, though, as she cracked Page in the head with a guitar, declaring that it was all about Kimberly now.
Kimberly Page was born Kimberly Lynn Bacon on January 1, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, but grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. Before graduating from Auburn University with a degree in public relations and journalism in 1990, Kimberly met Page Falkinburg (aka Diamond Dallas Page) at his Florida nightclub in December 1989 and the two started dating shortly afterward. They got married on December 1, 1991.
Kimberly graduated from Northwestern University in 1991 with a master’s degree in advertising. She then worked as a public relations coordinator, account executive, aerobics instructor, and waitress before joining Falkinburg in the professional wrestling industry.
When Diamond Dallas Page arrived in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991 as the manager of The Diamond Studd and The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael “P.S.” Hayes and Jimmy “Jam” Garvin), beautiful bombshells called Diamond Dolls accompanied him on each arm. Page’s then-fiancee, Kimberly, made her WCW debut on April 6, 1991, on World Championship Wrestling as one of his Diamond Dolls. However, when Page began wrestling in July 1991, he stopped bringing out the Diamond Dolls.
After a year-long hiatus from WCW due to a torn rotator cuff, Page resurfaced in December 1993 with Kimberly by his side. As Page’s one and only valet, she became known as the Diamond Doll. She initially portrayed a ditzy bimbo, but later tweaked her character to innocent and disapproving of his cheating ways.
Here is how WCW described the Diamond Doll’s character on the back of a trading card:
“She’s as cute as a button, but possibly as dumb as a button — for sticking by Diamond Dallas Page, that is. She, of course, is Diamond Doll. The knockout babe who seems better suited to modeling for the cover of a magazine than the verbal abuse she receives from the raunchy DDP.”
In December 1994, Page began challenging other wrestlers to arm wrestling contests and billing himself as the “International Big-Arm Arm Wrestling World Champion.” He even carried a trophy to the ring to verify this completely bogus accomplishment. His bouts had a special stipulation: if Page lost, the Diamond Doll would go on a date with the winner.
In spring 1995, Page engaged in a feud with Dave Sullivan over the Diamond Doll, who became infatuated with the beautiful brunette. After Sullivan sustained serious injuries at the hands of Vader and Ric Flair, the Diamond Doll, being the kind person that she is, visited him as he recuperated at home. She brought him a gift — a rabbit. Sullivan named the rabbit Ralph and promised to hug him and squeeze him and pet him because he loved him so much.
Page tracked Sullivan down upon his release from the hospital and challenged him to an arm wrestling contest at The Great American Bash on June 18, 1995. Their showdown came with an added stipulation: if DDP won, he takes possession of Ralph. After training on a playground with a bunch of children, Sullivan beat Page to win a date with the Diamond Doll.
A vignette highlighting Sullivan’s date with the Diamond Doll aired on WCW Saturday Night on July 1, 1995. After watching The Lion King at a movie theater, they headed to a fancy restaurant. The Diamond Doll showed Sullivan how to use utensils and told him her name: Kimberly. Moments later, a man dressed in a bunny costume (a wrestler who became known as the Disco Inferno a few weeks later) hopped over to them and handed Sullivan a telegram. Kimberly then read the telegram for Sullivan and got startled. The man in the bunny suit then read the telegram out loud and implied that Sullivan ate rabbit stew made of Ralph. Sullivan then ran back out to his car and found Ralph safe inside. After the Diamond Doll kisses Sullivan, Page comes from behind and attacks him with bodyguard Maxx Muscle in tow (causing the Diamond Doll to scream). Page and Muscle run off when a police officer appears.
Page and Sullivan wrestled at WCW Bash at the Beach on July 16, 1995. Sullivan was seemingly in control of the match at times only to get distracted by Muscle and the Diamond Doll. In the end, the distractions were the decider, allowing Page to nail Sullivan with the Diamond Cutter for the victory.
After winning his feud with Sullivan, Page lost Kimberly’s services in a match to WCW World Television Champion Johnny B. Badd at WCW World War 3 on November 26, 1995. She officially became his valet the following night on WCW Monday Nitro, simply going by the name Kimberly.
After Badd left WCW for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in March 1996, she became The Booty Man’s valet under the name The Booty Babe. The Booty Man’s gimmick was that of a man infatuated with his own buttocks, shaking it on the way to the ring and during matches. His signature move was a high knee (a homonym of “hiney”).
With The Booty Babe as his manager, The Booty Man entered a brief feud with Page. At WCW Uncensored on March 24, 1996, The Booty Man beat DDP with The Booty Babe at ringside. Pre-match stipulations stated that Page would regain The Booty Babe with a win, but quit wrestling if he lost.
At WCW Hog Wild on August 10, 1996, The Booty Man tried joining Hollywood Hogan in his New World Order (nWo) faction but got attacked instead by his former friend, as well as Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. The Booty Man and The Booty Babe then disappeared from WCW. They made their last appearance together on Monday Nitro on August 5, 1996, as The Booty Man beat WCW United States Champion Ric Flair via disqualification.
Kimberly did not show up on television again until WCW Uncensored on March 16, 1997, when she rejoined Page (now a face after having refused to join the nWo) as part of a feud with “Macho Man” Randy Savage. After Savage interrupted Page’s interview with “Mean” Gene Okerlund, Elizabeth flashed Kimberly’s centerfold in Playboy’s Nude Celebrities, which got defaced with the letters “nWo.”
The segment was also the first public revelation of Kimberly and DDP being a married couple as Savage exposed the couple’s relationship to get inside Page’s head and further enrage the New Jersey native. Kimberly herself then emerged from backstage with tears in her eyes after having been spray-painted off-screen by the nWo. Page immediately rushed to Kimberly’s side, only to get blind-sided by Savage. Savage then spray-painted Page and Elizabeth offered her two-cents worth of artwork on Kimberly as she tended to DDP.
Kimberly accompanied Page to ringside for a few months before developing the Nitro Girls at the request of WCW President Eric Bischoff. With Kimberly as the leader, the dance troupe debuted on Monday Nitro on July 14, 1997, in Orlando, Florida. The main focus of the group was to entertain fans in the audience during commercial breaks on TNT’s Monday Nitro television broadcast.
The Nitro Girls also made appearances at WCW promotional events and appeared as themselves in the 2000 buddy comedy film Ready to Rumble. On August 3, 1999, WCW aired a 60-minute pay-per-view dedicated to the dance troupe entitled Nitro Girls Swimsuit Calendar Special. Warner Home Video released the special on VHS on November 23, 1999. The Nitro Girls also had an official website and appeared in a non-nude pictorial in the September 1998 issue of Penthouse.
In January 1999, Scott Steiner began harassing Kimberly and the Nitro Girls at Monday Nitro events. This eventually led to Page attacking Steiner in the parking garage of the Marine Midland Arena in Buffalo, New York on Monday Nitro on February 8, 1999, as Steiner followed Kimberly to her car. Steiner then stole the car with Kimberly inside and tried to run over Page. As Steiner is driving, the passenger door opens and Kimberly gets thrown from the car (actually a stuntwoman). She falls on the cement and rolls a couple of times before coming to a rest, face-down, in front of Page. Kimberly is then carted off on a stretcher and put in an ambulance.
Kimberly would get her revenge on Steiner on April 12, 1999, as she struck “Big Poppa Pump” with a steel chair during his match against Page on Monday Nitro. Page then nailed Steiner with his patented Diamond Cutter to pick up the win. She accompanied Page to ringside on WCW Thunder on April 15, 1999, for a successful title defense against Stevie Ray before resuming her role with the Nitro Girls.
At WCW Halloween Havoc on October 24, 1999, Kimberly again accompanied Page to ringside. She spoke into the microphone and claimed that Flair spanked her 14 times after he surprised her the week before in a hotel room. Page then beat Flair in a Strap Match and continued to attack “The Nature Boy” until Flair’s son David Flair came to his father’s rescue. Kimberly then struck David in the groin and Page hit him with the Diamond Cutter. As Ric gets taken to an ambulance, The Filthy Animals kidnap him. The following night on Monday Nitro, David faced Page in the first round of a tournament to crown a new WCW World Heavyweight Champion, with Kimberly at ringside. The match ended in a no contest after David hit Page with a crowbar.
On Monday Nitro on November 1, 1999, Kimberly revealed the injuries Page sustained from David’s attack, which included a chipped collarbone, cracked sternum, and cracked ribs. She then told the Nitro Girls that she was leaving the group because she had more important business to take care of. Later in the show, Kimberly ran David down with her car.
WCW announced the following week on Monday Nitro that Kimberly would face David at WCW’s inaugural Mayhem pay-per-view event on November 21, 1999. On Monday Nitro on November 15, 1999, Kimberly made her wrestling debut in a match against Asya, with Torrie Wilson as the special guest referee. The match ended in a no contest after David scared Kimberly off with a crowbar.
Their match at Mayhem ended in a no contest after David knocked the referee out with his crowbar. He tried to hit Kimberly with a crowbar until Kanyon came to her rescue. Page then showed up and hit David with the Diamond Cutter. He tried to hit David with a crowbar but Arn Anderson stopped him. David then turned on Anderson by hitting him twice in the back with the crowbar. Following the event, Kimberly took a hiatus from WCW but would return in January 2000 as Page’s valet.
At WCW Spring Stampede on April 16, 2000, Kimberly turned on Page by hitting her husband with a guitar during a match against Jeff Jarrett to cost him the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. She then embraced Bischoff and joined his villainous New Blood stable. Kimberly explained her actions the following night on Monday Nitro by calling Page selfish and proclaiming that now it was “all about me.” The following week on Monday Nitro, Kimberly handed Page divorce papers.
During the storyline, WCW implied that Kimberly was romantically involved with Bischoff. She was briefly paired with Mike Awesome and had short feuds with Elizabeth and Miss Hancock.
On June 12, 2000, at a Monday Nitro event in Richmond, Virginia, Kimberly quit WCW following a behind-the-scenes dispute with Steiner. In 2007, Kimberly explained what led to her departure in a shoot interview with RF Video.
Kimberly said that Vince Russo, who headed WCW’s creative department, kept insisting that she get more physically involved in angles despite her repeated requests not to. At the Monday Nitro event in Richmond, Russo proposed an angle where she would flash her breasts to Steiner (with her breasts pixelated on television). When she refused, Steiner became irate and called Kimberly a “c—.” She then stormed off and quit the company.
Steiner approached Kimberly a few weeks later at a gym to apologize for his actions, which she accepted. Kimberly said she was much happier being away from WCW, which she labeled a sinking ship.
Sex sells and the world of professional wrestling is no exception. Before Playboy featured a slew of women from WWE in the nude, Kimberly Page graced the pages of multiple spin-off series of the publication. While performing for World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s, Kimberly shot multiple pictorials for Playboy.
“I tried out for the 40th Anniversary Playmate Search and started working with Playboy‘s Southeast producer, Cynthia Kaye. Together we shot about eight times over a 10-year period. Playboy always was very good to me and at the time, it was a decent career move,” Kimberly said in a 2007 interview.
Her relationship with Playboy got publicized by WCW on March 16, 1997, at WCW Uncensored. At the time, most WCW fans were not aware that Diamond Dallas Page and his valet, Kimberly, were actually married. “Macho Man” Randy Savage exposed the couple’s relationship by having his own valet, Elizabeth, flash Kimberly’s centerfold in Playboy’s Nude Celebrities (which got defaced with the letters “nWo”) in front of DDP.
After leaving WCW, Kimberly Page focused on acting. While living in Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly appeared in productions at the Alliance Theatre. She then moved to Los Angeles, California in 2002 to pursue a career.
Kimberly’s first film role was a deleted scene in the 2001 ensemble comedy film Rat Race where she plays herself, or rather, her WCW persona. In the scene, Cuba Gooding Jr.’s character Owen Templeton accidentally stumbles into the house of Diamond Dallas Page (which is on the road by the way) and gets caught in a compromising place with Kimberly. Page then beats up Templeton as Kimberly cheers him on. The scene got cut from the film after test audiences failed to react to it. The DVD release of Rat Race includes the scene as an extra.
Kimberly appears in the 2003 film Seabiscuit in a small uncredited role. In a 2005 interview, Kimberly said she played a bar wench that serves a shot to someone out of her “ample bosom.”
Kimberly landed her first starring role in the 2004 independent film The Scam Artist with the plot set in the future in the United States. As the daughter of a wealthy CEO, Kimberly’s character Sylvia Heinrich cooks up a scheme with her boyfriend to fake her kidnapping and leave the country with ransom money. Page appears in the film as a mercenary.
In her most notable film role, Kimberly appears in The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) as Carol. During a scene where Steve Carell’s character Andy Stitzer gets roped into a speed dating event, Kimberly’s character Carol enthusiastically chatters away across the table while her braless right breast falls out of her top and jiggles away in plain sight.
Kimberly also played a judge in an episode of the short-lived NBC sitcom A.U.S.A. (2003), Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the short fan film Grayson (2004), Dragonfly in the action/comedy film Monarch of the Moon (2005), and a doctor’s girlfriend in a 2005 episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. In her last credited role, Kimberly appeared on CSI: Miami in 2005 as the murdered girlfriend of Horatio Caine (David Caruso) in the episode “Under Suspicion.”
Fed up with only being offered roles that required her to show skin, Kimberly removed her large breast implants shortly after filming her scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin to get taken more seriously as an actress. Kimberly, however, said in an interview that she stopped receiving acting offers after notifying her agent that she would no longer accept T&A-based roles. Kimberly then decided she’d had enough of the Hollywood circus. She wanted out. She moved to Utah. Her new job? Marketing.
“Yeah, I kind of came full circle,” Kimberly said in a 2012 interview, “I’d been living in L.A. since 2002 and I was just kind of over L.A. and needed a change to improve the quality of my life.”
That wasn’t the only big change in Kimberly’s life as she amicably separated from Page in 2005 before eventually getting divorced. While they’ve since remarried, the two share a close relationship. In 2017, Kimberly attended Page’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Now 51 years old, Kimberly resides in Park City, Utah with her second husband. Check out photos of Kimberly in recent years.
