Under R-Truth's positive guidance, Johnny Curtis quickly became a favorite of WWE fans across the globe. His dreams of
becoming WWE's next breakout star came to fruition on March 1, 2011 when he was declared the winner of the fourth season of
WWE NXT. As a result of his victory, he earned a WWE Tag Team Championship Match with R-Truth. But when his tag team
opportunity never came to fruition, he did what any other WWE Superstar would do; cry over spilled milk.
Curtis would resurface on NXT to feud with Bateman, not to mention win the heart of Maxine. This on and off
relationship paralleled an up and down year for the Boston native. His biggest wins came against Alex Riley and
Percy Watson.
