Laurinaitis was introduced to the WWE viewing audience during a worked shoot angle on the June 27, 2011 episode of
Monday Night Raw as CM Punk dubbed the company corporate head a "glad-handed, nonsensical, douchebag, yes man" who
would "tell (Vince McMahon) everything he wants to hear." He subsequently made an appearance at Money in the Bank
as an associate of McMahon's. Under his master's orders, Laurinaitis stormed the ring during the WWE Championship Match only
to be clocked in the kisser by John Cena.
