As seen on Total Divas, Paige put her career at risk over her desire to get a tattoo on her chest.
During the March 1, 2015 episode of the popular E! reality show, Paige explains to Mark Carrano, WWE's Senior Director of Talent Relations, that she's looking to evolve her image and would like to get a huge tattoo either on her chest or arm. When Carrano informs Paige that they're going to have to get approval from WWE officials for her request, she's not happy.
A short while later at the arena, Paige receives the news she's been anticipating. But it's not what she wanted to hear.
"Congratulations, you're not getting a tattoo," Carrano tells Paige.
Despite opposition from WWE and her father, "The Anti-Diva" is still determined to get a tattoo.
“I don't want my daughter to have a tattoo,” Ricky Knight is heard telling his daughter during a transatlantic call, adding that she'd look like a “Millwall docker” with body art.
The 22-year-old refuses to be put off by the opposition, even though it could affect her career in the sports-entertainment organization.
“I shouldn't have to ask permission for anything, it is my body!" Paige cries to Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes. “So I’m going to go and get it anyway.”
Ultimately, Paige doesn't get a tattoo on her chest or arm. But she didn't leave the tattoo parlor empty-handed, having gotten a small tattoo on each thumb.
